Registration process
For the two day conference inclusive excursions and social program please register via button above for the ICPS19. This registration is required if you want to attend the conference as participant and mandatory
if you have submitted a contribution to the ICPS both as a scientist as well as a partner in the "Science meets Industry" session. If you are a member of the Heat-to-Fuel project consortium and only want to attend the Heat
to Fuel-workshop at the conference, please register here:

You´ll be forwarded to the registration form of our partner MICE. Please follow the instructions in the registration form and choose your conference fee, the social programm and excursions you want to take part. In a last step you´ll be asked for your data and have to confirm the registartion for the conference.

It is possible to register online till 13th November, afterwards you can register on 18th November at the conference venue (If you register at the conference desk you´ll have to pay instantly cash or with credit card).

The fee includes the participation
in all lectures, poster presentations, coffee breaks and the lunch on both conference days (November 18 – 19, 2019) as well as the conference package (conference stick with proceedings, program, etc.). You can book
optionally our tecnical excursions
as well as the social program
in addition to the basic conference program.

Your journey starts in Vienna city center at TU Wien, Institute of Chemical, Environmental and Bioscience Engineering, where you can visit the technical lab with research facilities aiming at the conference targets. Highly
qualified scientists personally conduct the guided tour and you can experience the latest research facilities up close.
Afterwards we will take you to Wien Energie where you can see incineration
of sewage sludge, municipal waste and hazardous waste. The tour will lead you to the research location for the development project “Waste2Value Development Project” (demonstration of gasification and synthesis) where
you can join the concept presentation.
This tour is presented by TU Wien, Bioenergy 2020+ GmbH and Wien Energie .
Your journey of discovery will take you to the realms of steel production, steel processing and steel products. After you visit the exhibition in the voestalpine Stahlwelt, you are in for an exciting plant tour. Our multimedia
buses will transport you deep inside the plant grounds covering 5.2 square kilometers. Directly to the production facilities, where you will get a behind-the-scenes look at the steel-making process. Presented by voestalpine
AG.
For this tour you´ll need sturdy shoes and stain-resistant clothing. Some facilities are accessible only by steep stairs - this tour may not be suitable for people who are afraid of hights or with limited mobility.
Please note that the VOEST Alpine is about 2 hours away from Vienna city center and traffic can potentially delay the arrival of the bus in Vienna.

Monday, November 18th, 19:00
The Mayor, or on his behalf one official of Vienna´s city resp. county government, will host the conference attendees at a typical Viennese Wine Tavern, a so called "Heurigen", in the suburbs of Vienna on this evening. This time we can offer our participants drinks and dinner at the well known Heurigen “Fuhrgassl-Huber”.
Tuesday, November 19th, 19:00
On our 2nd day of the conference, we would like to invite you to enjoy Viennese specialties at our Punsch- und Würstelstand. Come together and try hot winter punch and sausages outside the conference venue at Schloss Schönbrunn.
